To bring children and books together successfully, children must experience the pleasure of reading. There is a need to promote reading as a skill so that students can integrate past knowledge and experiences with new information, solve problems, make inferences, and establish connections to other texts and experiences.

The Library at Gnana Vidya Mandir is a superstructure of the wisest and wittiest minds. It features neatly stacked rows of bookshelves containing nearly 5,500 books for reference and reading, along with journals, magazines, and daily newspapers. The library provides ample space for reading, which students utilize during their library classes.
